As the transformation began on a home remodel, the clients’ desire was to refurbish their pool and yard areas at the same time.  Taking a cue from the materials they were using in the interior, our designers decided on a mid-century modern look, to accentuate the 60’s style home environment with character, purpose and was true to the era.

We played off of the angular placement of the existing pool and created elements, like a fire pit and outdoor kitchen that were more like pieces of abstract art. 

Noteworthy features of this project: The contemporary patio cover with automatic louvers that open and close for inclement weather, the addition of an automatic pool cover on the existing 1960’s pool, the engineered non-slip ‘wood’ paver tile around the pool, and the uniquely designed veggie garden on the terraced hillside.
